Durham, NC — DesignHammer was privileged to sponsor the third annual NCTech4Good Conference, held Friday, May 4, 2012, at The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill, NC. The theme of this year’s conference was Productivity: Doing More With Less.
Durham, NC — DesignHammer will continue its sponsorship of the Raleigh-Durham BarCamp for 2011. This marks the sixth year for BarCampRDU and the third consecutive year of sponsorship by DesignHammer.
BarCampRDU is a “un-conference” where attendees of the event can watch as well as engage as educators with their peers. The event is open to the public and driven entirely by content created by those attending the event making for a unique, entertaining and educational experience.
Recently David Minton, Stephen Pashby, and I participated in a program on rapport at the Chapel Hill-Carborro Chamber of Commerce. We learned the crucial steps to establishing rapport and why it is often necessary.
One of the reasons why I’m happy to be at DesignHammer this summer is that it is an excellent opportunity to learn about small business and entrepreneurship. I am grateful for DesignHammer’s support and help in my search to experience business firsthand.

Durham, NC (April 25, 2011) — Durham’s award winning web design agency DesignHammer completed its first employee food drive of 2011 for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina (FBCENC) on April 22, 2011. DesignHammer employees donated 225 lbs. of food to feed the hungry in central and eastern North Carolina.
I'm excited to be presenting at the NCTech4Good conference in Chapel Hill tomorrow on Upgrading to Drupal 7, and thought I'd post my slides here and a few other resources for those who are interested.
