DesignHammer will continue its sponsorship of the Raleigh-Durham BarCamp for 2013. This marks the seventh year for BarCampRDU and the fourth year of sponsorship from DesignHammer.

David and I had the pleasure of presenting a session on SEO in Drupal 6 and Drupal 7 at DrupalCamp Atlanta 2012. It is always a pleasure to share our passion for Drupal with other Drupalers. We had previously presented this talk at DrupalCamp Charlotte, DrupalCamp Asheville, and TriDUG.

DesignHammer's David Minton will be participating in United Way of the Greater Triangle's CEO Sleepout, on September 6–7, to draw attention to those who live in poverty in our community.

DesignHammer sponsored the third annual NCTech4Good Conference, held Friday, May 4, 2012, at The William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education in Chapel Hill, NC. The conference provides an opportunity for people from across North Carolina to come together and share knowledge about technologies that can advance the mission of nonprofit organizations.

I had the pleasure of presenting at the January meeting of the NCTech4Good Meetup held at the offices of United Way of the Greater Triangle in Morrisville, NC. The talk covered similarities between Usability, Accessibility, and SEO, a topic I first addressed here in 2009. Since my initial blog post, I assembled a talk, which I have presented at multiple venues, inclusing BarCampRDU, Internet Summit in Raleigh, as well as Wake Technical Community College.
