In the Office

As our newest member and intern, Joe is learning the ins and outs of how the DesignHammer process works from the ground up. Currently his focus is on data analytics, content writing, and picking up as much as possible wherever possible.

Professional Background

Joe hails from Pittsburgh, PA where he grew up with an avid love of reading, athletics, and all things black and yellow. His first taste of the industry came in high school as an IT intern at Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney PC. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he double majored in African and African American Studies and Public Policy Analysis.

While at Chapel Hill Joe was a 5 year member of the varsity fencing team and an assistant coach for a year before moving to Phoenix to pursue a full time career as coach, earning the title of Prévôt de Sabre and coached at numerous national and international level events. Joe has also served as a referee for the US cadre in the NCAA, national, and international arenas of competition.

Joe has been around computers from his first job in the IT department at Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney, LP through to present day and is excited to expand his knowledge now through his work at DesignHammer.

Out of the Office

Outside of the office Joe enjoys singing, primarily at karaoke and open mic nights although the occasional wedding has been known to happen. He also enjoys trying to cook all the foods he sees on various food television shows, trying local restaurants, and checking out the local craft brewery scene.

You don’t have to reinvent the wheel to increase your product’s appeal.
