Qualyst Transporter Solutions LLC is a Durham-based pharmaceutical research company founded in 2001, that provides solutions used in hepatic research to predict the effects of drugs and other compounds on the human liver. Their proprietary technologies, products and services are used by leading pharmaceutical, nutrition, cosmetics, consumer product, and chemical companies. Note: BioIVT acquired Qualyst Transporter Solutions in September 2017.
The Challenge
Qualyst came to DesignHammer as they were transitioning from a services company to a services and products company. They needed a website that reflected that change and that would appeal to a variety of specific markets. Additionally, the existing website had become dated and didn't display correctly on mobile devices.
The Solution
DesignHammer started by working closely with Qualyst during the design phase to ensure a clean, attractive, and relevant design was produced for their audience. As part of keeping their target segments in mind, marketers were recruited with a track record of collaborating with scientists and creative professionals to use words, images, videos, and animation to convey complex scientific ideas. With the planning and design complete, DesignHammer was able to move forward into production of a website to help Qualyst take the next step in their marketing goals.
The Results
DesignHammer built a WordPress site with a custom theme for Qualyst Transporter Solutions, LLC. The site included a comprehensive citation feature, post types for different assays available through their partners, and a news/blogging system to feature content for site visitors. Shortly after the launch of the new site, Qualyst was purchased by BioIVT and the site content was folded into BioIVT’s site.
