DesignHammer's response to the Heartbleed OpenSSL bug

By now, you have probably heard about the serious OpenSSL vulnerability, Heartbleed.

DesignHammer's servers were not compromised, nor do we have any reason to believe that any user data was compromised.

Those interested can use this tool to check if a website is affected.

Since the vulnerability was announced, DesignHammer has taken the following steps:

  1. Patched the vulnerability in OpenSSL on affected servers
  2. Changed passwords for system users on all affected servers
  3. Re-keyed and re-installed SSL certificates for affected sites
