We have hopefully had our last day of 90 degree weather for the year, and are looking forward to Fall. We have a few topics to share with you this week: the importance and history of punctuation, the 5 types of animation, and branch prediction in CPU's in the 90s.
Welcome to vacation season in North Carolina! We're taking turns getting out of the office and enjoying scenic North Carolina, or leaving the state (or even the country!) to beat the heat. While some of us wander the globe, the rest of us are still working hard. Whether sharpening our skills, getting the word out at a conference, or enjoying a cooling treat at Goodberry's, we're keeping summer fresh.
Though probably not as exciting as the eclipse, we have some articles to share with you this week! We are covering communication breakdowns, The Manifest podcast all about package managers, and color accessibility workflows.
Summer’s here, and so is the humidity! Actually, it hasn’t been that bad so far, especially in the air-conditioned offices where we’ve been adding some certifications, continuing on with conference season, building new tools, and working with clients. Jay even took the time between the other work to submit a patch for Drupal!
This week part of our team is out at Drupal GovCon 2017, in Bethesda, MD, and a few others are enjoying a nice vacation. Even with the busyness, we want to make time to share a few articles with you! We have been reading about book clubs and shared group knowledge, part 3 of 5 on managing multiple projects, and passwords evolved for the modern era.
Summer is officially upon us here in North Carolina, but we are trying our best to enjoy it! Our team is sharing several interesting reads this week, including: difficulties with pure UI, another accessibility ruling, part 2 of 5 in a series on managing multiple projects, and Facebook algorithms and your mom.
This week we are back in full swing after the holiday, and sharing some of our favorite articles from the week. We are covering keeping up with new technology, accessibility according to people with disabilities, 5 common project management mistakes with multiple projects, and AIGA design inspiration.
Helvetica is celebrating it's 60th anniversary! In addition to this exciting news, we are sharing about Google's AMP, foolproof project plans, and a Photoshop shadow tutorial.
Summer is almost officially here this week this week! Over here at DesignHammer we've been trying to escape the heat and keep up on the latest in the industry. We cover the following topics this week: buying lotion on Amazon.com, using Inverse Kinematics for tentacles, avoiding the top 3 causes for scope creep, and 7 server metrics to monitor for your Drupal site.
The weather is heating up in North Carolina; summer tends to show up early here. At DesignHammer, the heat and humidity cannot slow us down. We are kicking off the summer months with four Communicator Awards granted by the AIVA, prepping for summer conference presentations, developing new client projects, and supporting our local eateries (one of our favorite pastimes, yum!)
