Habitat for Humanity of Durham recently completed the seventh year of their annual fundraising event, the Halloween 100, sending local participants on a 31-, 62-, or 100-mile ride through Durham to support the organization's home-building projects. Durham, NC - DesignHammer will continue its sponsorship of the Raleigh-Durham BarCamp for their Fall 2010 event this Saturday October 23rd. This event marks the fifth time for BarCampRDU and the second consecutive year of sponsorship from DesignHammer.
The BarCamp event is an “un-conference” where attendees of the event can watch as well as engage as educators with their peers. The event is open to the public and driven entirely by content created by those attending the event making for a unique, entertaining and educational experience.

Durham, N.C. – This year, Durham's creative agencies worked together to create a unique fundraising event that would support the burgeoning arts community in the Bull City. Nine of the area's top agencies competed in a sponsored field games event called the Bull City Blowout to raise money for a local non-profit organization. For the inaugural event, SeeSaw Studio was selected for the fundraising efforts and received close to $4,000 for their after-school program that fosters design-focused arts education and entrepreneurial skills among the city's youth.
Durham, NC - Appearing this Tuesday, March 23rd, George Thorogood & the Destroyers will be performing at the Carolina Theatre in Durham, sponsored by DesignHammer. The Destroyers, led by Thorogood, are best known for their early 80’s hit “Bad to the Bone,” have had a prolific career releasing 20 albums, 5 of which are now Gold.
A competition between Durham's creative finest called the Bull City Blowout begins this year on April 16th. DesignHammer is one of nine competing agencies to raise money for local nonprofit organization SeeSaw Studios.
Durham, NC – Come out this Sunday, February 21, to see the first ever Niko Cup against Cancer, a soccer tournament organized by local players to support fellow player and friend, Niko Harlan, in his battle with brain cancer. The Tournament will feature eight six-player teams, competing on the Duke campus, hoping to raise donations that will contribute to Niko’s costly medical expenses. Teams participating in Sunday’s event have already raised over $4,000 in support of his treatment.
